Allie Goertz is a writer, musician, producer, and former Editor at MAD Magazine most notable for resembling Lisa Loeb.
Dubbed “Simpsons Expert” by Vice, Allie hosted the popular podcast Round Springfield (feat. Nancy Cartwright, Weird Al, Matt Groening) and wrote the book “100 Things Simpsons” with her co-host Julia Prescott. Goertz is also responsible for the saddest song about Milhouse to date.
Since publishing her first song in 2011, Allie has released three albums, performed countrwide at historic venues, conventions, and festivals, (SF Sketchfest, SDCC, The Troubadour), and has had her work featured in tv and film.
Her latest release, Peeled Back: A Tribute to Nine Inch Nails is accompanied by a slate of three music videos she co-directed and edited. The album was crowdfunded within 12 hours and reached 427% of its goal and is available on digital streaming, cassette, and limited edition vinyl.
Allie is featured in Vice docu-series Icons Unearthed, documentary Getting LOST, Hulu’s limited series Into The Dark, and has blink-or-you’ll miss it cameos in “WEIRD: The Weird Al Story,” and Arrested Development.
