“I ruined MAD Magazine and I’ll ruin you.”
-ALLIE GOERTZ, FORMER EDITOR AT MAD MAGAZINE

WHO IS ALLIE GOERTZ?
Allie Goertz is a writer, musician, and all-around creative most notable for resembling Lisa Loeb. She’s written for TV (MST3K), hosted the popular podcast Round Springfield, co-authored a book (“100 Things Simpsons”), released three successfully crowdfunded albums, and served as an Editor at MAD Magazine.
You may have seen Allie featured in the documentary Getting Lost, as a ‘Simpsons Expert’ in Vice’s Icons Unearthed, as a glorified extra in WEIRD: The Weird Al Yankovic Story and S3 of Arrested Development, or performing music at notable venues and conventions (The Largo, The Troubadour, SDCC, SF Sketchfest).
There is a hologram of her at the Detroit airport that sings a ballad about Milhouse Van Houten, and the cult-classic band Nerf Herder wrote a song about her.

Allie’s work has spanned genres and mediums but consistently features clever word choice, creative storytelling, and sincere passion.
