Day 38: A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting On Existence

Review: This movie has such a twisted sense of humor! I laughed at so many things I feel like I shouldn't have, and felt so much embarrassment for characters with whom I hope I share zero characteristics. Watching this movie, I felt like a spectator; looking down from my relatively happy life at a series of people far sadder than I am. Without sounding too melodramatic, I don't often consider many people to be "much sadder than I am," so it was oddly refreshing, and... humorous, to take pity for these characters while thinking to my self, "wow, my life could be much worse!"
