Day 53: Full Metal Jacket

Review: Well, this is the coolest movie. I love Stanley Kubrick but there are still a few classics I haven't gotten the chance to see. War movies can wear me down and make me feel a little detached from society so I tend to wait until I'm really in the MOOD to be brought down. As soon as I put this on, I realized how wrong I was to not watch this every chance I got. It's hilarious. Like truly DEEPLY funny. In addition to this being one of the funniest gritty movies I've ever seen, it was beautiful, humanizing, terrifying, dark, rad, way rad, etc. I don't know what to say other than I LOVE this movie.
