Day 34: Dirty Pretty Things

Review: I love Stephen Frears and Audrey Tautou but I didn't connect with this movie as much as I hoped I would. Maybe watching this many movies back to back can desensitize a person. Maybe it was so dramatic my brain shut off. Maybe I was looking at my phone too much. It was probably that one. I will say that with my first month of movies under my belt, I have learned that straight up dramas are just not my genre. I find sadness in everything. Cute movie? Sad. Cute pet? Sad. Cute boy? Sad. I don't think my brain knows how to deal with JUST sad. I'll add this to the "try again" pile. It looked cool!
